Committee Reports to the Senedd under Standing Order 22.9
Standing Order 22.9 states that the Committee must investigate any complaints referred to it by the Commissioner for Standards and report to the Senedd as soon as possible on completion of the investigation.
If
a breach of the Code of Conduct is promptly rectified by the Member concerned
and/or the Member apologises, the Commissioner for Standards made decide to
recommend no further action. Providing that the Committee agrees with this, the
Commissioner need not report formally to the Committee. Breaches that have been
dealt with in this way since the revised procedure came into force in July 2022
are listed below.
