3.1 The Chair welcomed the Minister and her Officials. The Minister gave an update on EU procurement and answered question from the Members.

 

Action point:

 

The Minister for Finance on EU procurement policy offered to send the Committee up-to-date evidence regarding local sourcing.

Minutes:

4.1 The Chair welcomed the Minister and his Officials. The Minister gave an update on Horizon 2020 and EU Structural Funds and answered question from the Members.

 

Action point:

 

The Deputy Minister for Agriculture, Food, Fisheries and European Programmes offered to write to the Committee with a timescale of events and negotiations which are likely to take place over the next year. The Deputy Minister also agreed to provide an early copy of Dr Guildford’s report when possible.
