· Write to the Children and Young People Committee asking whether they would consider further investigation into the issue
· Write to the Minister for Education and Skills asking whether consideration would be given to drawing up a new position paper on school libraries and a set of School Library Standards
· Write to the Minister for Housing, Regeneration and Heritage to ask about the implications of the petition for the work of public libraries
