Legislative Consent Motion: The Children’s Wellbeing and Schools Bill

To propose that the Senedd, in accordance with
Standing Order 29.6, agrees that provisions in the Children’s Wellbeing and
Schools Bill in so far as they have regard to devolved matters, should be
considered by the UK Parliament.

laid in Table Office on 28 May 2025, 12 June 2025, 16 January 2026, and 10 March 2026, in accordance with Standing Order 29.2.

Minutes:
The Committee was informed that another supplementary legislative consent memorandum was anticipated to be laid
in respect of the Bill, and that the reporting deadline would be extended as a
result. Therefore, the Committee agreed to write to the Cabinet Secretary about
Memorandum No. 4 and consider a revised report on both memoranda at a future
meeting.
