Members discussed the petition and agreed to thank the petitioner and close the petition, but in doing so to make the petitioner aware that the Senedd Local Government and Housing Committee would continue to look at the issue as it develops.

The Committee agreed to highlight the petition to the Local Government and Housing Committee for consideration in their forward work programme as well as write to the Cabinet Secretary for Housing and Local Government seeking further views on the issue. Members agreed to keep the petition open pending the two responses.
