Minutes:
The Committee considered the petition and agreed to write back to the Minister for Climate Change to ask:
- how will they know when the public sector have reached net zero, if there
is no clarity on their full carbon footprint; and,
- how the Welsh Government plan
ensure there is a consistent way of measuring to ensure there is clarity
about the carbon footprint.
The Committee also agreed to write to the Climate Change, Environment, and Infrastructure Committee to highlight this petition, in light of their work on Net Zero Wales.
