Minutes:
The Committee considered the petition for the first time and noted the strength of feeling expressed in the support for the petition and the additional funding recently announced by the Deputy Minister for Culture, Sport and Tourism. The Committee agreed to share the further proposals received from the petitioner with the Deputy Minister and await a formal written response from the Deputy Minister before considering what further action it could take. The Committee congratulated the petitioner on her successful campaign.
