To propose that the National Assembly for
Wales:
Calls on the Welsh Government to introduce
a £35 a week payment for every child in low income families in Wales.
The following amendment has been tabled:

Delete all and replace with:
To propose that the National Assembly for
Wales:
1. Regrets the UK Government’s decade of
austerity and programme of welfare reforms, which have led to an increase in
child poverty in Wales.
2. Notes the £1bn of measures the Welsh
Government has put in place to support low income families and to tackle poverty.
