The
arguments around fair funding for Wales have been identified in the reports of the
Holtham Commission in 2010 and Silk Commission (Part 1) in 2012, there have
been more recent developments across the UK which could impact on the Welsh
devolution settlement.
The National Assembly for Wales’ Finance
Committee undertook an inquiry into Future Funding for Wales.

The Committee held a consultation to gather evidence
on future funding for Wales.

The Committee considered the evidence received and agreed to write to the Chief
Secretary to the Treasury and invite witnesses for further oral evidence
sessions in the autumn term.
