Purpose:
The
Business Committee remitted this memorandum to the Environment and
Sustainability Committee for consideration. In doing so, the Business Committee
set a timetable for the consideration of the memorandum.
The
Business Committee agreed that the Environment and Sustainability Committee
should report on the memorandum by the 5 December 2013.
The
legislative consent motion was considered by the Assembly in Plenary on 10
December 2013.

To propose that the National
Assembly for Wales, in accordance with Standing Order 29.6, agrees that
provisions of the Water Bill as introduced in the House of Commons on 27 June
2013, in so far as they fall within the legislative competence of the National
Assembly for Wales, should be considered by the UK Parliament.
A Legislative Consent
Memorandum has been laid in Table Office on 18 September 2013 in accordance
with Standing Order 29.2(i).
The motion was agreed in accordance with Standing Order
12.36.
